In a poor Brazilian neighbourhood, its many inhabitants struggle to make ends meet. Everyone yearns for a happier future where life isnt only about unforgiving survival petty crime, big crime, anything that pays becomes a pathway of hope.

When three homeless friends win the lottery, they assume their lives are going to change drastically for the better. But claiming the money turns out to be more of a problem than a solution.

Set in a small town in Quebec, the film centres on the inhabitants of the town who are struggling to cope after teenager Simon Dub is killed in a car accident. As the family and town grieve, the residents begin to report several ghost sightings.

After losing his parents in a flood, 15yearold Andy is forced to live in the Mountain Province with his estranged grandfather. Feeling theyve lost everything, the two embark on a journey and start to come to terms with their grief.
