Tiny Amari has been born with a badly twisted back leg. At just 3 days old she's one of the youngest kittens Chris has ever seen at the clinic. The brave little battler needs a series of splints to try to save her leg and give her a second chance.

Chris is confronted with an unusual patient, an albino echidna. But there's a question mark over whether the extremely rare echidna is a male or a female. It will have to be anaesthetised so Chris can investigate.

Chris has travelled to the Cook Island to help at a busy vet clinic in the capital Rarotonga. His first patient is Princess, a hit run victim. Chris quickly finds out just how tough it is looking after the local pets, with only basic facilities and limited supplies.

Chris must deal with a cranky old saltwater croc with serious dental problems. Riley has a massive hole in his swollen gum, and Chris will have to somehow get a close look to find out exactly what the problem is.

A heartbreaking case for Chris with a young pet lamb savagely mauled by dogs. Oscar has suffered horrible injuries. Chris is deeply concerned because the wounds don’t seem to be healing, and also the young lamb is struggling to eat.

Chris is on a rescue mission to Queensland where Flukey is in a bad way. It’s been found with a shocking foot injury. Chris comes up with an ingenious plan to help .
