Maggie and Wayne are in trouble when they are accused of locking up an under aged girl for drunken-violent behaviour. Tom is bewildered by his mate embezzling $10,000 from the Football club's funds.

Maggie becomes involved with the press officer to the local MP, Ken Forbes, but the road to romance turns rocky when Maggie pulls Forbes over on a drink driving charge.
