Set during the Japanese occupation in World War II, a young orphan Tang Qi falls in a love with a young man Chang. However, their love is filled with challenges, from family pressure to the turmoil of war. When Tang Qi was raped, she is expelled from home to become a nightclub singer and embarks on a journey of no return.

Continuing from the first movie, Tang Qi ends her career as a nightclub singer and starts searching battlescarred China for her lover Chang, who is now entangled with Japanese invaders, communist insurgents, and a warlords beautiful daughter.

Join Mr Funny bone in a series of comic vignettes as he attempts to win the heart of a dashing lady. Along for the ride is his loyal sidekick Mr Big Potato, a stout fellow who is forever getting into silly mishaps. The pair gets involved in plenty of shenanigans and gags!
