Mick and Alex investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a young man whose body is recovered from the harbour near the location where two troublesome speedboats have been racing.

Alex is kept busy dealing with the problems of her fourteen-year-old sister, leaving Christey and Reilly to investigate a pair of robberies and two brutal murders.
