Marta and Terence try to further their relationship, but circumstances are against them. Stock are dying from a rare disease and there are worries for the safety of the Valley's inhabitants.

Marta shows growing affection for Ben Prescott, the Pony Club manager and Terence is jeolous. Meanwhile, Brendan tries to help a family whose son appears to be troubled by violence at home.
