A woman, who lives in a village where female infanticide is a common practice, goes to great lengths to get justice when her sister and her newborn child are murdered in cold blood.

Vijay, a short-tempered man, falls in love with Manju. However, he is imprisoned after an incident and upon his release, he learns about Manju's marriage.
