Super Bowl Champions

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers win their first Super Bowl in dramatic fashion by defeating the Oakland Raiders 48-21.

The Carolina Panthers almost won their 1st Super Bowl but were defeated by the NE Patriots, 32–29.  NE quarterback Tom Brady was named MVP for the 2nd time in 3 years.

The NE Patriots defeated the Philadelphia Eagles, 24–21 and became the 1st team since the 1997–98 Denver Broncos to win consecutive Super Bowls.
