Inebriated for the first time in his life, a timid young priest-to-be makes an amorous advance toward Diane and concludes he's not fit for the monastery.

As JD's relationship with Danni progresses he and Dr Cox are forced to spend more time together outside of the hospital. Meanwhile Carla and Elliot work to find their own balance between jobs and life.

Turk finally makes it through solo surgery without the assistance of an attending surgeon, and Dr Cox dreads the fact that he's getting older.

Dr Cox stays with JD and Turk after taking some bad advice from JD. Turk learns the real meaning of romance after Carla suggests no more sex until the wedding.
