A moviemaker sets out to a make biographical movie on Mayakumari, the legendary actress, and tries to find out the reasons that caused her disappearance.

Mukti Debi lives in an old mansion all by herself while her son is stationed overseas. She hires Tareq, a former convict, to care for her estate and soon forms a special bond with him.

Srimoti, a widow, suspects there is more to her husband's mysterious death. Thereafter, she hires a married lawyer, Jion, who eventually gets attracted to Srimoti, to investigate the matter.
